Uniting Women for Justice: Keepers of Justice Event during Ramadan in California

Last week, the Muslim Legal Fund of America (MLFA) organized a thoughtfully curated women’s Ramadan Iftar event, graciously hosted by Founder & President of Sales ArtisTree Real Estate Ruhi Ali-Khan, Global Vice President GTM Strategic Enablement Rehmat Kharal, Principal & Owner Influence Brand Agency Amna Mirza, MLFA CEO Arshia Ali-Khan, with special guest Isra Chaker.

This evening was about honoring the the invaluable role of Muslim women as the Keepers of Justice and as anchors in society. In a world where the pursuit of justice is often met with resistance and adversity, Muslim women have always stood as the unwavering anchors of justice in society.  As Muslim women we strive to walk in the footsteps of Khadija, RA. She stands as one of Islam’s first philanthropists, selflessly dedicating her earnings to the welfare of the less fortunate. Her legacy continues to inspire us today, illustrating her profound impact on generations to come.

Over 50 of our distinguished, inspiring, and brave supporters graced us with their presence to demonstrate solidarity with the essential mission of MLFA in upholding justice. Together, we engaged in substantive discussions addressing pressing issues affecting our communities, and the importance of continuing to do philanthropic work.

Sharing the breaking of our fast amongst cherished companions in the Bay Area was a deeply heartening experience. We extend our heartfelt gratitude for your steadfast commitment to championing justice, even in the face of adversity.

Our sincere appreciation goes to our gracious hosts and to all who participated in this meaningful gathering.
