Today CLCMA received the extremely disappointing news that the United States Supreme Court denied its petition on behalf of Hoda Muthana and her young son, after the Department of State rescinded her citizenship without appropriate due process. We continue to dispute the legality of these administrative revocations. As to Ms. Muthana, we will work with appropriate agencies to explore all options for her benefit and her son’s benefit. While we remain resolute in continuing to fight for our clients, this is a sad day for the Muthana family, and for the sanctity of United States citizenship in general.
