CLCMA Argues for Client to the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals

“Lassana Magassa does not pose a threat. That’s the determination the TSA ultimately made in 2019. Yet for three years he lost his job and right to work in his chosen profession and suffered reputational harm, for reasons he still does not know and still cannot challenge. And he knows it may come back up again at any time without warning, subjecting him to the same lengthy and murky process all over again.”

With those words CLCMA’s Civil Litigation Department Head Christina Jump began oral argument on behalf of our client Lassana Magassa. Joined in person and on the briefs by Civil Litigation Staff Attorney Alyssa Morrison, they appeal for the right to proceed at the district court level with Mr. Magassa’s claims against the Transportation Security Administration, Terrorist Screening Center, and Federal Bureau of Investigation for its treatment of him. You may watch the recorded argument here.
