Sakina was born in Kashmir and grew up in Kansas City, Missouri. She is a rising second year J.D. Candidate at Penn State Law, University Park. Sakina began law school immediately after graduating from Colorado College with a Bachelor of Arts with a double major in Feminist & Gender Studies and Political Science. During her time in undergrad, she served the campus in a variety of roles, including as Student Body President, as a resident advisor, and as the Vice President of the Triota Honor Society.
