Rana joined MLFA’s Civil Litigation Department as a paralegal in 2024. She holds a B.S. from San Jose State University in Justice Studies with a concentration in Criminology. She began her legal career in family law assisting attorneys in representing clients with divorce and child custody matters. During this time, Rana was an active volunteer for California’s Lifelines; a program created to reduce youth incarceration and Project Downtown Dallas; a non-profit that aims to aid the less fortunate community in the DFW Metroplex.
Rana aims to attend law school and practice international law in hopes to advance foreign policy decisions and global affairs. As a Sudanese-American, she hopes to utilize her background and passion for social justice with MLFA to defend against the denial of constitutional rights and unlawful activities in her community.
In her free time she enjoys cooking, reading and collecting vinyls.
