Bilal’s journey in the nonprofit sector, combined with a genuine passion for philanthropy, makes him an excellent addition to our team. Bilal has been supporting MLFA for almost 5 years in advising and consulting capacities.
Having transitioned from years in experiential marketing with key growth projects for Motorola and Microsoft, Bilal has channeled his skills into the realm of nonprofit development in the last ten years. Leveraging his Bachelors of Science in Psychology & his Masters in Business Administration, Bilal brings a strong foundation in understanding both human behavior and business dynamics. Bilal’s focus areas include enhancing fundraising systems, donor engagement, developing major gifts and creating personalized donor experiences for MLFA’s donors.
Bilal will be supporting our Development team to enhance relationships with donors & institutions while crafting strategies to recoup and upgrade existing MLFA supporters. Bilal was key in unlocking the growth and fundraising success of several large faith based nonprofit organizations. Some of you may recognize Bilal as faculty with the Intuitive Institute and Center on Muslim Philanthropy.
