Sahar Yusuf is a rising 2L at SMU Dedman School of Law. With a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Arts from The University of Texas at Austin, Sahar has used her academic background for advocacy initiatives. From researching strategies to combat immigrant-related domestic violence to coordinating meetings with lawmakers for student voting rights, Sahar has worked on several advocacy-related projects. Currently, she is a Dean’s Scholar and serves as the Treasurer for SMU’s Muslim Law Student Association. In her free time, Sahar loves to foster animals, paint, and watch arthouse films.
