Rachel Smith

Rachel Smith joined MLFA in 2025. She earned her B.S. in Family Sciences and Human Development from Brigham Young University in 2024. During her undergraduate studies, she was selected as a Wheatley Scholar at the Wheatley Institute for Family, Religion, and Constitutional Government, where her research on the intersections of family, faith, and human rights informed presentations and advocacy work at the United Nations 69th Commission on the Status of Women. Prior to joining MLFA, Rachel gained policy experience with the Center for the Rights of Abused Children, conducting research on child welfare systems and legislative reform. Her background also includes collaboration with United Families International and volunteer service across Latin America, the Caribbean, and the Middle East. Passionate about protecting civil liberties and promoting human dignity, Rachel is committed to strengthening families, defending religious freedom, and ensuring equal justice under the law.
