Muna Hussaini is a mother, tech executive, and accidental community activist. She is currently Senior Director, Strategic Programs at Cornerstone onDemand and has worked in tech for 20+ years in across IBM, eBay, PayPal, Magento, and Indeed. After 9/11, Muna was a victim of several hate crimes and spends much of her time reclaiming the Muslim-American narrative and working to eradicate hate. Muna is a founder of Muslim Space, an inclusive Muslim organization. She is a co-founder for Recode the Quo, helping Austin-based tech startups be more diverse, inclusive, and equitable. In addition, Muna serves on the Advisory Board for Muslim Legal Fund of America and as a Senior Advisor and Guest Lecturer for Bayan Islamic Graduate School. In her spare time, she can be found cheering on the sidelines for her son and daughter’s futbol games or watching the EPL, namely Liverpool. Lastly, Muna attended the University of Texas at Austin and is a proud Longhorn. Hook’ em!
