Mehreen Nadeem
Legal Committee
Mehreen Nadeem earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Houston Law Center and is licensed to practice law in Texas and Washington state. Her current focus is in commercial and civil litigation, representing professionals, corporations, individuals and businesses in both state and federal courts. With experience in transactional and litigation matters, she has secured favorable outcomes for clients through deal and contract negotiation, settlements, motion practice and trial advocacy. Her most notable achievement was resolving a $25 million claim against several major fortune 500 companies for a minimal settlement amount and liability admission.
Mehreen’s journey to becoming a lawyer was inspired by the legacy of her late grandfather – a lawyer she never had the opportunity to meet, but whose lifelong dedication to serving his community, publications and legal achievements left a lasting impression on her. Her passion for the law is rooted with the same commitment to the community. She has taken on several pro bono cases for human rights and immigration matters and is excited to further her contributions with MLFA. She also maintains membership with the Federal Bar Association for the Western District of Washington, King County Bar Association, Houston Bar Association, Dallas Bar Association, Houston South Asian Bar Association, Washington South Asian Bar Association, Washington Defense Trial Lawyers and other notable organizations.
