Josue Rodriguez
Josue Rodriguez is a second-year law student at the University of Colorado, joining MLFA as a legal intern in the Immigration Litigation Department. In law school, he has participated in mock trial, serves as president of the Muslim Law Student Association, and is pursuing the Civil Rights & Racial Justice Certificate. He spent his 1L summer as a summer associate at Crowell & Moring, where he also worked on a pro bono asylum application.
Josue earned his B.A. in Political Science from the University of Denver in 2022. After graduation, he worked in his hometown neighborhood Montbello, Denver, practicing community development without displacement. At the Montbello Organizing Committee, he served as Community Engagement Specialist, Community Development Program Manager, and Director of Children’s Farms in Action. He looks forward to continuing a career in public interest work as a future plaintiff-side trial lawyer.
