Arub Ahmad is a 2L at SMU Dedman School of Law and spent her summer clerking at Faegre Drinker Biddle & Reath. She is a Staff Editor for the SMU International Law Review Association and is an active member of SMU’s Women in Law, and Middle Eastern & South Asian Law Students Association. Arub is committed to the advancement of diversity in the legal field and currently serves as the Vice President of the Muslim Law Student Association and a Student Representative on SMU Law’s Diversity Council.
Arub seeks to create a more equitable and just community. She is the Co-Founder of Noorishment, a 501(c)3 nonprofit with locations in Dallas, Austin, and St. Louis, dedicated to delivering career education to underserved high school students. As a legal intern with MLFA, Arub seeks to use her skillset to protect the constitutional rights of American Muslims.
