CLCMA Issues Advisory on Trump’s Muslim Ban

DALLAS – Feb 1, 2017 – Representatives from Muslim Legal Fund of America, a constitutional rights organization, are directing community members to the advisory prepared by Constitutional Law Center for Muslims in America, a nonprofit law firm funded by MLFA, in response to President Trump’s executive order restricting immigration from Muslim-majority nations.

The advisory explains the executive order and provides advice for non-citizens abroad, non-citizens in the U.S., and international travelers. The advisory is available on the CLCMA website.

“We urge anyone who may be affected by the Muslim ban to follow CLCMA’s advice and contact the Center or an immigration attorney before traveling back to or out of the United States,” said Khalil Meek, executive director of MLFA.

Muslim Legal Fund of America is a national nonprofit charity that funds projects to protect and defend constitutional rights in America.
