DALLAS – Sept. 21, 2015 – Muslim Legal Fund of America is honored to have received the American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee of Michigan’s 2015 Justice Award during its 13th Annual Judges Night in Dearborn, Mich., on Thursday, September 17, 2015.
ADC established Judges Night as an annual event to recognize judges who exhibit distinguished leadership as well as a commitment to justice and the U.S. Constitution. In recent years, ADC Michigan has honored several judges including Michigan Supreme Court Justice Bridget Mary McCormack, Judge Patrick J. Duggan, Michigan Supreme Court Chief Justice Marilyn Kelly and Judge Damon J. Keith of the U.S. Court of Appeals.
The American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee (ADC)is the nation’s largest Arab-American grassroots organization and is dedicated to protecting the civil rights of Arab-Americans and promoting their rich cultural heritage. The ADC-Michigan is the largest and most active office outside of Washington, DC.
