On April 23, MLFA’s Civil Litigation attorneys provided the Senate HELP Committee with AMP’s response to its inquiry.
Over the past year and a half, AMP repeatedly answers the questions posed to it with appropriate transparency, while still respecting the legally protected privacy rights of its employees, volunteers and donors.
Last year, we showed the House Committee on Oversight that its inquiry rested on false presumptions.
And we now do the same thing to the Senate HELP Committee, because it made the same mistakes and false presumptions.
Just as Franklin D. Roosevelt said long ago, “repetition does not transform a lie into truth.”
We’ve been proving that true for years for AMP, and all our clients.
Not one lawsuit includes any proven facts against AMP – even the ones trying for eight years or more.
Not one court has ruled that AMP did any of the things others claim it has.
The last Congressional committee to attack AMP proved nothing.
This one won’t either.
Because repeating a lie will not make it true, no matter how many people repeat it.
