Ayman Soliman was arrested four times in his home country of Egypt – abducted in the night, held for days at a time, subjected to torture and threatened with more.

His time in the Butler County Jail – held by immigration officials for 73 days – was more traumatizing, he told The Enquirer.

“This is a terrible place to be,” he said. “From the first minute, somebody makes you believe that you have to leave your freedom, your dignity and your humanity at the door.”
