MLFA brings together a powerful lineup of academics, protesters, charities, attorneys, organizational leaders, and students to discuss the profound effects of the Gaza conflict on the Muslim community and our allies. With expert panelists at each symposium, we will delve into how the landscape has shifted for us since October 7, 2023.  

TOPICS:

Student Protests: A look back at the student protests and the impacts of the protests on both public opinion and on the students.

Policy: The political impact in the United States and potential legislative responses.

Charity/Aid: The impacts of the war in Gaza on charities’ missions and the obstacles they face in delivering humanitarian aid.

Speech: The First Amendment and immigrant speech and the United States’ evolving response.
