This case is significant because we argue that the Jibril family, and others like them, have a right to challenge their placement on the government’s Watchlist. The Jibrils exercise their rights to their day in court to challenge the harm caused by the government’s action. We hope this litigation sets precedent protecting the due process rights of all Americans, equally including Muslim Americans. ​
