American Muslim Legal Ecosystem

AMLE
American Muslim Legal Ecosystem (AMLE) is a joint project powered by Muslim Legal Fund of America and CAIR-Chicago, created to close the legal access gap facing Muslims across the country. With support from the Tides Foundation’s Community Collaboration Initiative, AMLE is building the country’s first centralized platform that maps the legal landscape, connects people to trusted help, and strengthens collaboration across the field.
As the nation’s only Muslim organization focused on federal litigation and constitutional defense, MLFA is uniquely positioned to lead this work. Our attorneys see, every day, how fear, confusion, and siloed resources leave people without the support they need. AMLE is our answer to that problem: a tool that organizes the ecosystem so no one has to navigate it alone.
Too many families face surveillance, discrimination, and legal threats with no roadmap for where to turn. AMLE creates that roadmap. It gives communities clarity. It gives advocates a shared foundation. And it gives philanthropy a real way to invest in long-term legal infrastructure.
A coordinated, transparent, nationwide legal ecosystem where support is accessible, resources are shared, and Muslim communities are protected with the strength of a connected network.
AMLE is the first step in building that future.
