American Muslims for Palestine Sue To Stop Virginia Attorney General Miyares’ Overreach

On Friday, September 26, 2025, we filed a federal lawsuit to block Attorney General Jason Miyares’ overreaching demand for AMP’s donor lists, board records, and private documents.

“Our position is clear: Attorney General Miyares and his office want what the United States Supreme Court has already said states cannot have,” said Christina Jump, MLFA’s Head of Civil Litigation.

This filing defends the constitutional rights of AMP, its partners, and its supporters from unlawful targeting and chilling of speech.
